Ms Ina Kearley

Ina is a graduate of Bishop’s College High School. Following her high school years she attended Memorial University before pursuing her Bachelor of Music at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB graduating with her degree in 1977. Ina returned to Newfoundland and taught classroom music at Morris Academy, Mt. Pearl. She remained at that school for her teaching career of 30 years as a primary/elementary music teacher, assistant principal, and principal, retiring in 2008. During her teaching career she returned to Memorial University and complete a Masters of Education Degree in administration leadership in 1997. She was organist/choir director at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, St. John’s for 17 years. In 1993 she became the organist /choir director at The Church of the Ascension in Mount Pearl, a position she still presently holds.
